About our shows Staff recruitment The Blunderbus Team BLUNDERBUS - ABOUT THE COMPANY Blunderbus is a professional theatre company with charitable status, established in 1998. For over a decade, we've been creating magical, memorable theatrical experiences for children and their families. We play to over 200,000 children each year, touring to theatres, arts centres, schools and festivals across the UK and internationally. Quite simply, our staff love working with children!

Blunderbus employs a small administrative and creative team, which includes six professional actor-puppeteers who work full-time for the company. Our actors work as a 'rep' company, performing in each of our shows throughout the year, with senior members taking on the role of mentor, imparting their knowledge and skills to newcomers, both in rehearsal and on-the-road.

The work of Blunderbus would not be conceivable without the dedication of our core team, supported by the freelance artists who work alongside us to realise each new project.
