19/02/2011 - After the rain came the Rainbows
Jeannette

Little Mouse took the Noisy Night team to Riverhead Theatre today - and made some new friends while he was there.

On a rainy day in Louth, the Riverhead theatre gave us all a great welcome today. It is run almost entirely by volunteers and they do a great job in keeping this lovely venue going. They run the box office, the bar, the technical, the administration and theatre management giving up hours of their time every week.

And the result is a very special venue that has built up great audiences since the new venue opened in 2002.

We were very fortunate to play to two nearly full houses of families who giggle, laughed, yelled and sympathised with both Big Mouse and Little Mouse as ths story of the Very Noisy Night unfolded.

Birthday grown up Victoria had the pleasure of becoming the ghost in the 2nd show, whilst long standing volunteer Brian was the burglar that Big Mouse escorts of the premises!!

And after the rain came the Rainbows in the shape of the Louth Rainbows - a very smiley group who Little Mouse liked straight away. They weren't the only ones either and he insisted that we took a photo of them all.

Thank you Riverhead Theatre, the Louth Rainbows and all our other new friends. We had a brilliant day and look forward to seeing you all again.

xx
