Touring dates
This show toured to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 1997, and then went onto tour Kent schools until Dec 1997.

The story
The much-loved fairytale about the Emperor who spends so much time enjoying the finer things in life, and taxing the poor to afford his lavish lifestyle.

But, with greed there is often stupidity; as the Emperor searches for a new outfit to wear at his annual parade, two conmen ride into the kingdom. Pretending to be tailor's, they quickly convince the Emperor that they will weave him a brand new outfit from the finest thread in the land.

On the day of his grand parade, it takes a small child to point out to the Emperor that his new clothes don't really leave a great deal to the imagination.

Original professional cast
Kathy Walker, Emily Pithon, Leon Hamilton. (More credits to follow...)
